History St Ludmilla Elementary St. Ludmilla School, established in 1914, is located in a well established neighborhood on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids. It is located on "J" Street just north of Wilson school and near the heart of Czech Village. In the mid to late 1950's before LaSalle was built. Many of the St. Lud's Kids would go on to Wilson Junior High and then on to Jefferson Senior High School. Some of these Studends attended LaSalle High school whch opened in the fall of 1963 .
